Welcome to NEFES 2027!

The 12th International Conference on New Energy and Future Energy Systems (NEFES 2027), organized by Hannan University, will be held on August 17–20, 2027 at Hannan University, Osaka, Japan.

Hannan University is a private university located in Matsubara City, Osaka Prefecture, Japan. Founded in 1951 and formally established as a university in 1965, it has approximately 5,000 undergraduates and operates on two campuses: the Main Campus in Matsubara and the Abeno Harukas Campus in Tennoji, Osaka. Guided by its founding philosophy of "cultivating internationally-minded human resources for the modern economy," the university combines Osaka's traditional commercial heritage with a global perspective.

As an annual flagship academic event, NEFES has run successfully for 11 consecutive editions: NEFES 2016 (Beijing, China), NEFES 2017 (Kunming, China), NEFES 2018 (Shanghai, China), NEFES 2019 (Macao, China), fully online Microsoft Teams conferences NEFES 2020, NEFES 2021 and NEFES 2022, NEFES 2023 (Matsue, Japan), NEFES 2024 (Győr, Hungary), NEFES 2025 (Matsue, Japan) and NEFES 2026 (Macao, China). NEFES 2027 will continue to provide a global exchange platform for researchers, engineers, industry experts and students working on new and future energy systems. It will feature keynotes, invited talks, oral and poster sessions for sharing latest advances, technologies and industry trends across clean energy, energy storage, power grids and sustainable energy research.
