The 11th International Conference on New Energy and Future Energy Systems (NEFES 2026) will be held on July 7-10, 2026 in Macao, China.

The annual conference was held successfully in the past 10 years in Beijing (NEFES 2016), Kunming (NEFES 2017), Shanghai (NEFES 2018), Macao (NEFES 2019) in China, Online via Microsoft Teams (NEFES 2020, NEFES 2021 and NEFES 2022), Matsue (NEFES 2023) in Japan, Győr (NEFES 2024) in Hungary, and Matsue (NEFES 2025) in Japan. NEFES serves to foster communication among researchers and practitioners working in a wide variety of scientific areas with a common interest in all fields of new energy and future energy systems. NEFES 2026 will consist of keynote speeches, invited speeches, oral presentations and poster presentations.

Known as the 'Vegas of China', Macao, is a city and special administrative region of the People's Republic of China in the western Pearl River Delta by the South China Sea. With over 400 years of cultural exchange, Macao is the best-preserved historical blended Chinese and western architectural complex in the world and was listed as a world cultural heritage site. Its famous light industry, tourism, hotel industry and casinos have made Macao prosperous and become a global one of the developed and wealthy regions.
